Mike graduated from Watkins Film School in 2010 with a double major in cinematography
and directing. He has shot several feature films, countless short films, and hundreds of
music videos. As an entrepreneur, he has worked growing his own personal company
since 2006 before joining forces with Leland Herzog in 2015 and forming the Lux
Collective. A master editor and a knack for producing, Mike is a very well rounded
company owner with a passion for storytelling.

Matt Sliger - Staff Writer
Matthew has been telling stories for as long as he can remember. When he was younger,
his parents and teachers preferred to call it "lying." He stands by its usefulness.
Eventually though he decided to make the transition from telling stories and instead move
into storytelling, a subtle difference but to him it seemed much less morally compromising.

Leland Herzog - Owner / Co - Founder
Leland’s career in the video industry began nearly 7 years ago as a result of his passion for managing live music video shoots for friends. In the years to come, he worked in many different roles as a freelancer on both short and feature films.
In 2013, Leland was hired as a Production Coordinator at NorthStar Studios. A few years later, NorthStar was purchased and became Skyway Studios. Leland is now Manager of Production Services and oversees all of Skyway’s productions. This includes anything from live remote interviews for major news outlets to multi-camera shows like Pickler & Ben.
Leland is an active member of META (Media Entertainment Technology Alliance), an organization lobbying for positive change to Tennessee’s entertainment laws and incentives

Clay Howard - Sound Engineer
Clay graduated from MTSU in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science and Technology Degree
with a concentration in the recording industry and an emphasis in recoding and
technology. After completing his internship at Paragon Studios he move to Nashville in
2010 and became an in house engineer at Beaird Music Group. He began moonlighting
as a production sound engineer and boom op for several student films and worked on his
first feature film in 2012. Clay lives and works in the Nashville area and does production
and post audio.
